Emmanuel's Visit Day 7

Today was already the last day Emmanuel was here so we had to be sure he got a souvenir. I got him a nice, soft and warm Santa Barbara jacket and we collected some seashells for him to take home. Although most of all I wanted him to remember this week. I might also send him some pictures so he can remember the memory even better. Then we did our last  thing we did before he left, which was having dinner with my family which is a ritual. I am very glad that I had this "imaginary" time with Emmanuel.

                                                                   

                                                        

Emmanuel's Visit Day 6

Today my Aunt "Owie" (her real name is Ellen) came and we went hiking up Seven Falls the and then climbed down the waterfalls. It was cool and relaxing. Emmanuel had a great time talking to my aunt and thought the water was a fun experience, event though it was freezing. He thought the sight of the mountains were spectacular.
                                     

Emmanuels Visit Day 5

Today, our fifth day we started off by going on a morning walk on the beach and listened to the waves crashing and saw the sun rising. The waves made a nice crisp, and soothing sound and Emmanuel enjoyed it very much. Then later that day at around 3:30 I took him to soccer practice with me to soccer practice. I was surprised at the way he played soccer with his prosthetic legs.
