Today we went to the mission rose garden. We first went to the Santa Barbara mission and then went across the street to the rose garden. It smelled amazing and we smelled almost every type of rose. It took us almost a while, but we thought it was worth it because enjoyed the smells and had a relaxing time. Then I told him that our school, Santa Barbara Middle School was up the street right across the street to the mission. He wanted to go see it even though I told Emmanuel that it was up hill and a little ways, but we went anyways. We looked at the spectacular view of the city, he was amazed and said we were lucky that we had a great view and a nice campus.
